So much has happened over the past few days – and today, we’d like to take you along and show you what we’ve been doing for our heartfelt project. Maison du Soleil – House of the Sun we’ve brought to life. Sometimes, it’s hard to believe how quickly things can move forward when you carry a goal deep in your heart. And since we plan to share updates regularly from now on, this marks the first post in a small weekly series.
This website is finally online. After many hours of writing, designing, selecting images, and structuring content, it’s now live. Here you’ll find everything about our project: who we are, why we’re doing this, how you can help – and even a FAQ section for both kids and adults. The child-friendly version is especially close to our hearts, because Lara helped create it. 🦇🦄
Our first goal: €10,000. This amount will help cover the down payment for a suitable property in France, as well as initial notary fees and consultations. The link to the campaign can also be found on our website – and of course, we’re incredibly grateful for every bit of support. 💛
Over the past few days, we also finalized our concept paper, which you can now download from our website. It outlines what we’re planning, who this place is for, and how the funding is structured. In addition, there’s a printable donation flyer – perfect for anyone who wants to help us spread the word. Maybe you know of a spot at your local community center, in a shop window, or your favorite café around the corner?
And: We’ve started this blog. Starting today, we’ll be posting regular updates. We want to share how things are moving forward, what we’re experiencing, what’s inspiring us – and yes, even where things might get stuck sometimes. Everything real, everything honest, everything from the heart. 💛
