We call this heartfelt project: <strong>Maison du Soleil \u2013 House of the Sun<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udfe1 In France, we want to create a <strong>Place of retreat<\/strong> for <strong>Families who have children with special needs<\/strong> establish \u2013 with loving care, <strong>accessible<\/strong>Nestled in nature and tranquility. A place that provides safety, where children can simply be children, and parents can experience moments of relief and togetherness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udc9b Our Daughter <strong>Lara<\/strong> She was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of three. Additionally, she lives with a congenital heart defect. This diagnosis changed our lives overnight. The months spent in hospital, the therapies, and the worry for her life were a profound challenge for us as a family. And yet, Lara was full of... <strong>cheerful spirit<\/strong>, <strong>Imagination<\/strong> and a <strong>incredible inner strength<\/strong> \u2014 she has always been and continues to be our biggest inspiration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udfa8 Today, Lara is a joyful and sensitive girl who enjoys creating art, painting, dancing ballet, and discovering the world through her imaginative eyes. She dreams of becoming a ballerina in France in the future. Through her, we have come to understand how... <strong>precious<\/strong> and <strong>essential<\/strong> <strong>respite<\/strong> are important \u2013 for the child affected, their siblings, and especially for us as parents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udc69\u200d\ud83c\udf73 <strong>Melanie<\/strong> is a trained <strong>housekeeper<\/strong> With a great passion for structure, caregiving, and healthy nutrition, she will be responsible in the House of the Sun for maintaining smooth operations and making guests feel truly welcome and secure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd27 <strong>Jens<\/strong> is a qualified <strong>salesman<\/strong> with <strong>experience in skilled trades<\/strong>. He is skilled in renovation, technology, and organization \u2013 and will ensure that the house runs smoothly, is well-maintained, and filled with life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udf08 Together, we complement each other as a team \u2013 not only as a family but also professionally. With Maison Soleil \u2013 House of the Sun, we want to bring our experiences, skills, and story into something greater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We want to create a place where families with special children <strong>find rest<\/strong> can\u2014a place that <strong>shines a light in challenging moments<\/strong>, that inspires courage, gives strength, and fosters connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udfe0 Not as an institution. But as a <strong>A temporary sanctuary<\/strong> \u2013 for people who are often marginalized or forgotten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For this very reason, we start this journey. For Lara. For other children.
